MS Japan To Help Japanese Insurance Firm Switch From XP To Win 8 Tablets

With announcements for ending Windows XP support till Apr’14, organizations have finally started to transit form good old XP to newer versions of the Windows. In Japan, Microsoft Japan is helping Meiji Yasuda, a major Japanese Insurance Company to do the same. Microsoft Japan will help the company to move over 30,000 XP machines to Windows 8 tablets. This massive transition is being done by JV of Microsoft Japan and Fujitsu, the tablets will be used as Mobile Sales Devices. These have been custom designed to produce policies catering their customers on the fly.
