Gearbox is planning to remake the Homeworld 1 and 2 for Windows, by this year, after its attainment of license from THQ for an amount of $1.35 million. The Windows will enable ports for the original version of the game through digital distribution platforms.
Brian Martel who is the CCO of Gearbox Software has showed off his like towards the series which will release by April. He stated that the game will be accessed through the important digital platforms. The godfather of Homeworld, Relic Games sold it to SEGA during THQ’s bankruptcy and now running Company of Heroes 2. The team of Homeworld had left for working in RTS, which is more stranded.
