Once Windows Gets A Touch-Friendly Version, iPad Users Will Get Microsoft Office

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, today announced that when the company will finish its work related to touch-optimized Windows version, Office will indeed come to the iPad.

When the Company introduced Office for the iPhone earlier this year, it was expected that the support for iPad will be in short order. But according to the Ballmer’s announcement iPad users have to wait even more longer than anticipated.

Earlier, this year there had been a lot of speculation as to when Microsoft will release Office for iPad. Currently the only thing iPad users are experiencing with regards to Office is that they can use Office Web Apps through the browser.
