Those who started getting ready to line up outside stores for the Nov 27 release- to buy Xbox One- this might come as a turn down. According to latest reports Microsoft is denying any Xbox One launch scheduled on that day. It should be noted that Amazon’s listed November 27 as the release for the Xbox One.
This is what the official representative of Microsoft had to say : “We have not informed our retail partners about a specific launch date for the Xbox One, It is commonplace for retailers to put placeholders dates and prices into our system until they are given a specific date and price. We are excited to release the Xbox One in November 2013.”
A comment was also made on the fake date saying it to be odd date – too late in the month to be a serious competition for Sony at the post.
It should be noted that Microsoft has been cranking up its policies & deadlines after the response received by Sony for PS4. Initially Xbox One got a cold shoulder from Gaming Fraternity but with recent DRM policy changes it looks to be getting back in competition.
