Sony has announced that their upcoming PS 4 will allow games to be self published onto the PlayStation network. This will allow the indie game developers to get more acquainted with the console world.
Sony has been loaning out PS4 development kits, which earlier cost around $2,500, to established indie game developers. While, Sony seems to be accepting the indie game wave with its all resources, Microsoft is failing in the attempt. Microsoft had issued a statement that the indie gamers would not be allowed to put their work on the Xbox Live Network.
