In a follow up to the classic, the Prince of Persia is coming back to continue the search for his past. But this time, he will be returning on the mobile screens.
Ubisoft announced that its planning to bring the series to the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch via Google Play and Amazon and other Android devices. Prince of Persia – The Shadow and the Flame will be released on July 25th and retail for £1.99. This edition will be set after the events of the first Prince of Persia and will flaunt a new visual design with redesigned controls and 3D levels.
The modern day edition also features new social connectivity features. There will also be leaderboard support and Facebook integration facility.
The new combat is also reported to have a new system with different challenges and enemy types. Players will be able to mark their territory using either a touch-based gesture control system or using the virtual joystick.
