Prediction Of PlayStation 4 Costing $349 And Xbox For $399

In a preview presentation of E3, wed bush Morgan analyst, Michael Pachter, spoke to the investors about the cheap manufacturing rates of the next generation gaming console of Sony in comparison to the Microsoft. As per his estimation, the manufacturing cost of PS4 by Sony will be $ 275 while the same by Microsoft will be around $ 325. He is also expecting the higher price of Xbox One by Microsoft with subsidized services of Telco and ISPs. As per him, the price of the Xbox One by Sony will be quoted almost $399.

Pachter also shared the fact in the preview that the watching of television via set top box, cable, Telco, or satellite is nothing but a favorable means of charging certain subscriptions by MSO for those subsidized boxes. While, the Xbox One remain connected only by means of high seed broadband network. He also said that by means of providing this broad band connection to the players ISP might earn a little incentive by charging a subsidy.

He also discussed in the E3 presentation about his prediction relating to the probable launch of Xbox One with the special facility of prepaid live gold subscription system. He also pointed out its resemblance with the launch of Xbox 360 in U.S. He also remarked that through this live gold subscriptions Microsoft is providing much flexibility in the availability of their Xbox One in comparison to the limited release of the past. The same effect is reflected by the scheme of premium functionality of Skype of Microsoft.

As per his predictions, Sony can also subsidize PS4 by means of prepaid PlayStation Network subscriptions without having the support of any past history like Microsoft. Possibly both Sony and Microsoft are going to disclose the pricing rates of the next generation consoles at E3 in the year 2013. The claim of a Japanese newspaper has discussed about the probable increase in the price of Play station 4 almost above $400 in the month of February.
