Microsoft’s Entertainment Strategy has been described as being “deeply flawed” by DFC (research firm), and they’ve also said that “the future of Microsoft’s business” hangs in the balance, according to how the Xbox One campaign has gone till now.
DFC mentioned that “Microsoft’s overall strategy for entertainment devices is deeply flawed,” in it’s Video Games Market report. Apparently, people are not that happy with Microsoft’s policies and strategy for Xbox One, and many have chosen to favor Sony’s PlayStation 4 instead.
“So far this has not had a major negative impact on the Xbox business but that is likely to change with the Xbox One launch. Right now the entire future of Microsoft’s consumer entertainment business is in question and that is likely to have a major impact on the game industry,” said David Cole, DFC.
