Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes isn’t a standard MGS game, Hideo Kojima has said, and intrinsically its play time will vary greatly beyond the two hours figure touted yesterday. In a picture post on Twitter, Kojima said Ground Zeroes will depart from the franchise norm in being non-linear and more replay-able.
“Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes includes the main mission alongside 5 side Ops,” as per the report. “All missions embrace parts like Trial Records, where players can contend against one another online.
“This isn’t a linear game like in the past. Ground Zeroes offers freedom of approach and play style, that we hope players will fancy over and over again while not boring them,” said Kojima.
A report also claimed that Ground Zeroes can be finished in two hours.
Ground Zeroes is a prequel and like a tutorial and taster for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, that Kojima has said is to reward fans for his or her patience throughout the extended development of the total game, due to its next-gen technologies.
