Low Demand Of iPhone – Cut Of Orders

As reported by WSJ(Wall Street Journal), “weaker-than-expected demand” for the Apple iPhone 5 has led to cut in orders for the iPhone 5 components by half.

Clearly, with likes of Android phones in the market & with Samsung leading the race with Apple, it’s share of the smartphone market has dropped from a high peak of 23 percent in 2011 to just 15 percent in 2012.

Since Samsung has been ahead of Apple, Samsung now have 31 percent of smartphone sales. The likes of Android and Samsung getting stronger day by day reminds us that Apple has lost it’s position in the market.

FACT: Apple sold 27 million phones in the third quarter of 2012.
