Doki-Doki Universe To Release For Sony Consoles On December 16

Doki-Doki Universe is all set to release digitally for PlayStation 4, PS3 and Vita on Dec 10, Sony has confirmed.

The game has been developed by HumaNature Studios. The digital-only title will tout a story mode, along with 31 personality quizzes and an interactive system or rather specifically saying, a social messaging system.

The game is priced at US$14.99, although a free version will be out there providing 16 temperament quizzes, the mail system, as well as a tutorial and residential planet for the player-character QT3.

According to the studio, Doki-Doki Universe will comprise several distinct ‘stories’ across many in-game planets. When the announcement regarding the same had been made in May, Doki-Doki Universe was delineated as a group of “related products” free across all current Sony consoles.

The core product will be a complementary download i.e. a free-to-download social title, whereas the complete game will deliver an ‘RPG/Simulation/Interactive Story’ game.

The founder of HumaNature Studio Greg Johnson offered the following as an example of one Doki-Doki Universe story.

“This story takes place on a planet referred to as Brrr,” he wrote. “As QT3, you will encounter an insecure young figure named Junior, who is sheepish of the actual fact that he cannot stand the cold. Junior is afraid to inform his father, as he is positive his father would never understand.”

Doki-Doki Universe will support cross-play that means a single purchase can be accessed on PS3, PS4 and Vita.
