Daylight is all set to come out on PC and PlayStation 4 in a few months. The game has finally booked its window. The news of this release window comes via an IGN preview, which shows an April launch for both platforms.
Daylight has been developed by Zombie Studios, the developer of Blacklight: Retribution and the Saw games. It is an Unreal Engine 4 title from the studio.
The game sees off players exploring an abandoned sanatorium, armed not with semi-automatic weapons but with a single mobile phone, that is employed as a map and a light source and the phone also has an occasional defect.
Levels are procedurally-generated, which suggests you’ll never get to know what’s around the next corner.
