Chelsea Boss Jose Mourinho believes that Manchester City will take on “the worst Barcelona team in for many, many years” when the two team clash against each other in the Champions League today.
Mourinho rarely offers too many positive comments when it comes to Barcelona, but surprisingly was uncomplimentary towards them, when asked about his views of the first leg encounter at the Eithad Stadium between City and Barca.
“I think this is the worst Barcelona of many, many years, so City have a chance, of course, by history, Barcelona is the favorite, but this Barcelona, this season, is showing that it is not the same in previous years. Mourinho told ITV Sport.”
“Of course they have [Lionel] Messi, he is special, and they have more than him, but this is the worst team they have had for many years.”
