For their Fall 2013 announcement Apple has released a teaser video of their upcoming Mac Pro in movie theaters across the nation. The video flaunts the sleek black curves of the Mac Pro from multiple angles, which was first shown at WWDC during the initial debut of Mac Pro.
Reports suggest that, people who saw the video and were surprised to see the video ending with the line; ‘Fall 2013’ which gave the first hint as to when the product can be expected. Even at the WWDC, Apple gave ‘Later this year as the release date.
Analyst claims that, the new Mac Pro will be either bigger or smaller by a fraction than the older variant with a radically redesigned tower. Reports from Apple claim that, Mac Pro will be 2.5 times faster than the current Mac Pro which, according to the reports, is packed with 12-core Xeon E5-2697 v2 processor. However the processor has demonstrated mixed results in the benchmark tests.
In addition to the Intel Xeon E5 12-core processor, new Mac Pro will be pumped with Dual work-station AMD FirePro GPU’s and new PCI’s flash storage. Price tags of Mac Pro, which is getting assembled in USA, have been kept as a secret. Although the company is expected to hold a grand event on September 10 for iPhone 5S and even an iPad to follow; it is still unstated as to when the Mac Pro will make its debut.
