Apple Launching iTunes Radio Service In Canada Soon

Apple’s streaming music service, iTunes Radio is coming soon to Canada. It came in United States with the release of iOS 7, however it is currently limited to the users in US.

iTunes match, company’s first music service came back in November 2011, before rolling out to international markets a month later. It recently added a new job listing (via 9to5Mac) seeking an iTunes Canada Music Programmer, who will be responsible for overseeing the programming of iTunes Radio in Canada.

As Apple negotiates licensing deals for each country, there is possibility that rollout of the service is only for the limited countries. Rather, according to Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Internet software and services of the company, bringing iTunes Radio to the rest of the world is a top priority for the company, and it is aiming to be in “more than 100 countries.”
