Apple Is All Set For iTunes Festival

A dedicated channel for Apple TV owners and an updated App are to be launched by Apple as the Tech Giant prepares itself for iTunes Festival 2013.

Apple has decided to make it special this year by releasing a dedicated channel for Apple TV owners that would stream the iTunes Festival events live. The iTunes Festival App will also be getting an update with faster performance and improved stability.

At The Roundhouse in London, every night in the month of September, a series of amazing performances would be showcased that would together amalgamate the iTunes Festival. People are given tickets to this grand event through local competitions as a result of which one cannot buy tickets. Although the competitions are held in certain countries, event will be streamed free through the Apple TV and the App to all iOS devices worldwide.

In the month of May it was revealed that, the 60-plus acts slated to participate in the month-long series of gigs this year would include Justin Timberlake, Jack Johnson, Thirty Seconds to Mars and Jessie J.
