Apple Has A Good Growth Rate In India, Shows Report

It was reported that the sales of iPhones in India has increased up 400% every year. The growth was recorded by Tim Cook, CEO of Apple.

During the initial three months, there was reduction in the sales of iPhones. Later on, Apple recorded a sale of 120,000 smartphones, though it is a lesser value when compared to 230,000 sales which happened during the past three months.

IDC report shows that Apple had its smartphones sold for more than 400% in the last three months. This has increased the hope of Apple’s growth rate in India.

Though Cook didn’t gave an exact number of sales that took place, but he made sure that Apple has a good way for sustaining in India. It should be noted that Apple has more independent distributors.

Apple improved its sales with more discounts and easy monthly installments and the company has launched iPhone 5 last year.

Sunil Tirumalai, Credit Suisse analyst stated that about 400,000 units of iPhones were sold every month in India.

India became a popular country for the smartphone shipments, said CyberMedia Research. It was also reported that iPad is also showing some growth rate in India.
