Apple, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter and others are joining hands to demand more transparency from the NSA. They’ll demand from President Obama to let them do three things in their transparency reports and ask the government to provide their own transparency reports too quoted by AllThingsD.
The three things this tech alliance will focus on :-
- The number of government requests for information about their users.
- The number of individuals, accounts, or devices for which information was requested.
- The number of requests that sought communications content, basic subscriber information and other information.
