Many users are complaining about the sound issue in OS X Mavericks, according to them sound being muted on all systems once resuming use after being in sleep mode. However, the free OS X Mavericks was revealed last month at Apple’s WWDC conference.
According to the reports of TNW, the new Haswell-based MacBooks, including the MacBook Air and the pro models are all affected.
Some temporary fixes via Apple’s forums, suggest that either insert and remove headphones or simply restart the laptop but that may not always fix the problem.
