There was a mystery regarding the 3D feature of Amazon phones (which has been solved), that its not actually a 3D phone, it has four front-facing cameras at each corner of the device that can track eye and head movements to make the phone’s screen look 3D. Earlier, people didn’t know about this 3D concept, so there was not much excitement about it.
There was also a report that the Amazon 3D phone uses retina-tracking technology, so using both the technologies, there could be pretty cool effect of 3D. On the bright side, it could all just be experimental!
However, Amazon declared that this phone is not coming this year. So, there could be lot more changes in 3D effects and functionality, and there can also be something beyond our expectations.
