Marvel is considering more One-shot films built around Agent Peggy Carter from Captain America and of course, this is very good news for Agent Carter’s fans. Due to limited development and funds, the filming hasn’t kicked off yet. However, a lot of things have moved on since then. Currently, discussions are under way for an Agent Carter TV series.
Marvel hasn’t let any information out yet. They refused to disclose information or even speak a little bit about the story. The concept is being considered by Marvel, with the story continuing from Peggy’s life after the ‘Agent Carter One-Shot’ with her shown as a secret agent.
No official deals or contracts have been signed yet. No creative team is present as well. The more important question is whether Atwell would come back and play Peggy regularly. The actor has a pretty busy schedule, so it is unlikely that he would be able to play the character constantly.
ABC is also planning to launch ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’, featuring Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg). It is expected to arrive in the United States next Tuesday and would premiere on Channel 4 on the 27th of September.
