Adobe Systems announced, on Tuesday, that it has completed its acquisition of Neolane. Neolane is a conversational marketing company with annual revenue of almost $60 million. The deal is speculated to be worth $600 million in cash and adds new features to Adobe Marketing Cloud like handling leads, marketing resource management and a real-time recommendation engine.
Another new feature is an interface that allows users to collaborate across all Marketing Cloud products.
Neolane has offices around Europe, North America and Asia and provides services for customers including Alcatel-Lucent and Sony. It was founded in 2001 and has its headquarters in Paris, France.
Neolane happens to be the sixth product in Adobe Marketing Cloud’s package. In a statement to the media, Brad Rencher, senior vice president and general manager of Adobe’s Digital Marketing business said, “With the completion of the Neolane acquisition, Adobe’s lead in digital marketing is extended further, bringing critical cross-channel campaign management capabilities to the Adobe Marketing Cloud.“
