As Apple’s Grand event seems to be approaching, certain new details about their upcoming device are leaking out. As claimed by Clayton Morris on social networking site Twitter that Apple’s iPhone 5S which is pumped up with A7 processor is running 31% faster than its older variant A6. However, Apple seems to stick to Dual-core processors as A7 would also be dual core.
However, its heard that some of the iPhone 5S internal prototypes include 64-bit processors. It’s still uncertain if 64-bit will make it through, but tests are being implemented. Reports claim that, the 64-bit processing will assist the A7 chip in making transparencies, animations and other iOS 7 graphical effects appear much more effortlessly than on active iOS Devices.
Known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that a transition to 64-bit processors will likely take place in the near-future. If not this year with the A7, one can expect that it would happen with the A8. It also possible that, Apple could be testing 64-bit chips presently in iPhone 5/5S bodies ahead of the 2014 iOS Device processor upgrade.
A tweet that came from Morris claimed that, the iPhone 5S will include a new dedicated chip for motion tracking which he thinks will play into a camera upgrade. As previously reported, the iPhone 5S could most likely include a major camera upgrade, which would include a new slow-motion mode that captures 120 FPS video.
The iPhone 5S will is also rumoured to have a fingerprint sensor which are in testing and aren’t exactly activated by a swipe like on the Motorola Atrix, rather the user will hold down the Home button to be authenticated into the phone. It is also rumoured that Apple is aiming to make payments integration for the fingerprint scanner, but seems to be a long-term goal and also not something happening this year. This would surely make one think of the passcode-replacing fingerprint scanner as a beta test for future features.
Reports also claim that one can expect the upcoming plastic iPhone to essentially be an iPhone 5 with a plastic shell which would be the same or very similar to internal specs of iPhone 5, but with the long-rumored plastic casings. Discontinuation of the iPhone 5 may take place, as reported by Ming Chi-Kuo and Current Editorials.
iPhone 5S may also come with on board 128 giga-bytes of memory and Gold coloured body.
