YouTube is reported to start testing a new search suggestion tool on Wednesday evening named YouTube Topics. YouTube Topics will soon be available in TestTube.
YouTube Topics will be a Explore bar with more tags related to the search you have made. YouTube Topics will be the very helpful while searching very broad categories like ‘funny’. Although this is kind of the same thing that is already provided as autofill search suggestions when searching, but it would be helpful to view a higher number of suggestions. More importantly YouTube Topics will be able to add tags to our current searches.
Would this help in better video discovery on YouTube? we’ll just have to wait and see.
