Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z will be receiving a special Ninja Gaiden Z mode, according to an announcement by Team Ninja. This retro-inspired mode will offer side-scrolling action that will be quite similar to the past games in the series along with 8-bit-style cut scenes and menus. Along with the trailer and screens showing off the classic game mode, the developer also issued an additional offbeat parody trailer.
Team Ninja also told something about the game’s characters. It noted that the game’s main character Yaiba will receive a DLC thanks to the collaboration with Comcept. This will give an opportunity to dress their ninja warrior up like Beck, the lead character of Keiji Inafune’s Mighty No. 9.
The game is all set to launch on March 4, 2014 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
