The XBMC, an open-source media player, released the first End User Friendly build for Android back in January-which turned out to be very successful- and now it’s update is developed, with the release of XBMC for Android’s First stable End User Friendly version.
“We’re very proud to see that it has been downloaded over half a million times, and is even being pre-installed to many of the new Android set top boxes which have begun to hit the market,” said XBMC in a blog post.
“This is the first and only truly End User Friendly release of XBMC available on the internet.” The developers are also looking forward to the users’ reactions to the update. “We’re hoping that it will in time bring XBMC to a whole new mainstream level.” Downloading and installing it is different than downloading other apps, but it’s nothing too difficult. The page gives you a brief explanation as to what it actually is, and if you like it, you can follow the steps they’ve given to download it.
