HTC has paid the price for the delaying of HTC One. HTC reported the worst ever quarterly profit of the company. The profit in the 1st quarter of the last year was $173 million, that means there is a fall of 98% this year, with the profit of $2.8 million in the 1st quarter of this year.
The reason for the huge fall in the profits is clearly the manufacturing delays of HTC One. HTC One, reviewed as the fastest phone till date and one of the very best Android phones till date. The phone was not available during the period of it’s hype and that led to an extreme fall in the profits. The second big thing coming from HTC is the HTC First, and hopefully the phone will live up to it’s name.
