Windows 8 Overtakes Windows Vista

It’s happened at last; Windows 8 has become a more widely-used OS than Windows Vista, reaching the third spot in the list.


On the other hand, Internet Explorer 10’s success rate, while high, is slowing down, while gap between Firefox and Chrome’s rates reduced greatly. The Worldwide desktop browser market share of Firefox is 18.2, while Chrome’s is 17.76. Chrome’s points have increased by 0.59, and Firefox came down by 0.86. Internet Explorer’s points increased by 0.46, bringing it to 56.61 points.


Coming to Worldwide Mobile browsers, Android and Safari browsers remain on top. Chrome on Android has shown a lot of growth with 0.60 points, but the Internet Explorer is down by 0.49 points.
