Well, Will Smiths rumors about his appearance on the Independence Day 2 seem to have been cleared, with the actor claiming he will not.
It has been officially announced by the sources that Smith is out of the crew list, though the project is said to hit the theaters in July 2016.
There is no clue about the reason behind his backing out from the project, but director Roland Emmerich is not shocked as he told Daily News last year that Smith would probably be “too expensive” anyway.
Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman will be back, though, this time going up against the evil ETs alongside Ross Bagley, who’ll play Smith’s grown-up son.
Independence Day 2 is said to appear on 4 July 2016.
