Van Gaal And Queiroz May Replace Villas-Boas For The Top Job In Spurs

Louis van Gaal, the head coach of Netherlands has expressed his interest in managing Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. Tottenham are looking at Carlos Queiroz and van Gaal to become the head coach.

Tottenham parted company with Andre Villas-Boas last week after a few disappointing results. Tim Sherwood is temporarily the coach of Tottenham and he took charge in Sunday’s 3-2 victory against Southampton. Sherwood was interested in taking up the role permanently, but that has not deterred the management to look at other names.

Van Gall has not signed up for any job after his role in the 2014 world Cup with Netherlands. He could just be tempted to manage in England soon. “I won’t comment on offers”, Van Gaal told Guardian.

“I have always wanted to work in the Premier League, so I am not denying the possibility. Deals would be announced. Media needn’t speculate on anything”, he added.

Former Manchester United assistant coach, Queiroz is currently the head coach of Iran. Rumours suggest that he might be replacing Villas-Boas for the top job in Tottenham.

“I have tremendous respect for Tottenham and I admire them. It is my dream to get back to the Premier League”, he said.
