The new feature which is under testing with some of the selected account, can bring a lot of friends to interact which are closer to you and you can feel them more closer than you think. Its all in the testing status at present by Twitter which would roll out tweets by users in the same area, whether you follow them or not.
Presently its in experiment and only soem users can can have access to it. Many users on twitter don’t bother about their location or they just do not update their locationjo it will jus more difficult for them.
