If you have browsed through Yahoo’s site this week, you may be infected with Malware and need to scan your system. It has been detected by the researchers at Fox IT, they said that they have detected a malicious exploit kit among Yahoo’s ad network active since December 30th and they have hit mainly in Romania, Great Britain, and France.
Fox IT says the malware exploits Java (not JavaScript) vulnerabilities, being delivered to up to 300,000 users per hour when it was discovered on Friday. However, the good thing is Yahoo is working on it.
May be this leads to a lesson for the users that they should disable the outmoded and no-longer-secure Java on your browser.
