Twitter introduced its #Music platform on Rdio’s streaming music service, along with its Spotify app release, on Friday.
On the 13th of September (Friday), Twitter announced that a new page within Rdio would display 15 different #Music-generated playlists, which would include trending songs and artisi charts.
Though the playlists would be continuously updated, they still seem meager compared to the more filtered Spotify app; despite which, #Music’s algorithms suggests a high playlist porting. #Music playlist shall import data from outside the app, unlike Rdio’s Heavy Rotation service. This shall, many say, prove to be profitable for a small service like Rdio.
