Facebook waited to go for the digital ad dollars to be tied up to retard its display. The popular social media waited after prolong public offering. This happened after the launch in last summers for FBX (Facebook Exchange) and twitter is planning for an exchange similar to a Facebook Exchange. This will let brands to help in retarding people who visit the social media sites through ads posted on Twitter. Twitter did not respond to any request on behalf of the comment.
It is not yet clear how far it is for twitter in terms of building the request. This was contrary to that of Facebook who has managed itself to develop the exchange within a month from scratch. Twitter is continuing to perform its own diligence in terms of its advertising approach. It is since last year that Twitter has been meeting the partners of Facebook Exchange. These partners of FBX are well familiar on meeting with the people on Facebook and also locating them. It has been spotting out those people who are previously visiting the brand side Facebook and to retarget these visitors for display ads.
It basically works by pinging on a partner when a user visits Facebook. This is done in order to ensure that the partner is able to bid the target ads properly of the users of social network. The talks are not yet finalized and are still ongoing. Twitter has not yet taken the opportunity to brief the potential partners on the launched date that has been planned by the social media. Twitter has yet additional plans and wishes that the brands should buy these exchanges.
It is also supposed that twitter is going to offer a seat to the marketing brand on the exchange. Some of the popular ones who have taken the privilege to hold seats on the exchange are Kellogg’s, Gamble and Procter. These seats are being held in the right media of Yahoo. It implemented the requirement early in the year 2012. It is served as a proxy for various bidding platforms. The exchange will prove to be greatly beneficial for Twitter.
