Tottenham Striker Roberto Soldado knows that Newcastle won’t go down too easily on Sunday, and he admitted it too. Newcastle won 2-0 against Chelsea (who were, apparently, in-form) last weekend, while Tottenham’s match against Everton ended in a goalless draw.
“We watched their game against Chelsea,” stated Soldado. “In the first half, they defended well and then attacked more in the second half. It was a good win for them. I’m sure it will be a good match on Sunday.”
The striker also said that Newcastle will probably be very confident (for good reason) and it definitely won’t be an easy match for Tottenham. He went on to say that, “You don’t focus on where teams are in the league, you just go out and give 100 per cent in every match.” He believes that it actually doesn’t matter where the teams are in the league. Every team gives it their best, and there are no easy matches in the Premier League.
“If we manage to win, we’ll continue to make progress and build on the draw at Everton,” said Soldado.
