Tony Hawk and Activision Join Up Again

Activision has confirmed in a statement that it is again collaborating with professional skater Tony Hawk on a brand new video game.

“Activision can ensure that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk, more info will be coming up soon, “according to a statement by an Activision representative to IGN. Tony Hawk had first revealed the collaboration during a show on SiriusXM’s Demolition Radio show, stating, “We’re working on a game with Activision, it’s pretty cool.” Currently no further information about the project is available.

The last game to bear the Hawk soubriquet, Tony Hawk’s professional skater HD was developed by Chicago studio Robomodo as a collection of fan-favourite levels from the Tony Hawk’s professional skater series. That very same studio also made the faux-skateboard driven Tony Hawk: Ride in 2009 and its follow-up, Tony Hawk: Shred, in 2010.
