Tomb Raider Reaches A Million Sales In 48 Hours

Tomb Raider is a franchise that consists of several comics, novels, movies, and games that revolve around an archaeologist Lara Croft.

The first attempt to convert this sensational character Lara Croft into a media was made by Core Designs in 1996. And then in 2006, Crystal Dynamics brought the most successful game and the fictional character Lara Croft became the most successful human virtual game heroin recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. In total, six games have been designed each better than the previous. And with two movie tittles Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle to Life starring hot and sensual Actress Angelina Jolie. The first movie is the highest grossing film ever made in adaptation of a video game.


Two Days back, Square Enix brought the sixth version of the Tomb Raider game series. This is the most advanced Tomb Raider game till date. Tom Raider is developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows with and M (mature) rating. It is also the first Tomb Raider game ever to be rated with a mature rating. And the good news for the Tomb Raider fans is that within 48 hours of its release, it has crossed the 1 million mark.

Yes, over 1 million copies of Tomb Raider have been sold. “Tom Raider” and that too with advanced Graphics Engine is whole lot different experience. Tomb Raider already has bulk of fans and with this new version more masses may join in.
