Tom Hardy has been a busy man with his with his flourishing career and have had little time to focus on his appearance on TV series, However when it comes to Steven Knight has the director one can hardly resist. It is time now for hardy to add TV acting to his resume has he plans for a role in Peaky Blinders.
The BBC drama show features Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill, which made his decision easy. For those who haven’t seen the show, Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham in 1919 and featurs on a feared gang known for sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps as a means of dishing out rough justice in their campaign to dominate crime and trade in the city.
Hardy has been appointed to star as a charismatic leader who will present both a problem and an opportunity to Murphy’s Tommy Shelby as he plans to get on the throne. Knight is once more writing all six episodes of the second series, which will start shooting later this year.
Locke, is said to release on April 18. The actor will also be seen in Child 44 and The Drop coming this year.
