TiVo is launching a new lineup of DVRs with added functionality and tuners. The device features more tuners, storage, and ability to stream live, download pre-recorded video to mobile devices outside home with prices starting from $199 to $599.
The series is Roamio and top-end device Roamio Pro can record up to 6 shows simultaneously, with 450 hours of HD recording, and 75 hours of HD recording capacity will be available for $199. The boxes will also have built in Wi-Fi and new RF based remote control.
On the software front, the devices have received a new look and upgrades with Wish Lists, faster streaming applications like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus, MLB.tv, and AOL On. TiVo app will allow the user to download recorded content on Mobile devices and inside home streaming, and out of home streaming through TiVo stream.
