Titanfall server-side updates can now be rolled even in the middle of a match, while not interrupting play. In a Respawn forum discussion concerning how integrating Xbox Cloud Service has wedged the multiplayer shooter, programmer Jon Shiring aforesaid updating Titanfall is just about seamless as a result.
“During our small Closed Alpha, we extended 3 new server builds and completely moved players from one build to consequent while not interrupting gameplay. Players never noticed a distinction (other than some bugs went away),” he claimed.
In another forum discussion, Respawn revealed that there’ll be no native dedicated servers for Australian players – despite the whole purpose of Xbox console exclusivity apparently being Microsoft’s ability to provide cloud servers.
Titanfall is also releasing its PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions in March; the Xbox 360 version has been developed by Bluepoint. A beta will also be coming in February, going by rumours. The details of the same are expected shortly bt the company.
