‘The Kitchen Sink’ – Expectations Galore

‘The Kitchen Sink’ added three more gifted actors to its cast- Bob Odenkirk, Patton Oswalt and Ian Roberts. The multi-genre movie is set to release next year. With a heavy dose of fiction, horror and comedy, the critics expect a lot from the movie, given its stellar cast.

Mackenzie Davis, Nicholas Braun, Joan Cusack, Vanessa Hudgens, , Keegan-Michael Key, Denis Leary, Ed Westwick, and Josh Fadem are the main stars in the film. This movie is making the rounds in Hollywood and some of them are even tipping the movie to be a blockbuster months before its release. Directed by Robbie Pickering, such a multiple genre movie isn’t very surprising. In fact, the name ‘The Kitchen Sink’ comes from the expression “everything but the kitchen sink”. According to reliable sources, the story revolves around a fictional town called Dilford, where a hierarchy is in existence. With Vampires on the top of the pyramid and zombies at the bottom, human beings are sandwiched between them. It represents a food-chain, in simple terms. Like all movies, there are evil forces in this film as well. Humans team up with supernatural creatures to fight alien invasion. The script, written by Oren Uziel was very well received in 2010 and was featured in the Black List as well. He is currently busy with two other sequels- Men in Black 4 and 22 Jump Street. Producer, Matt Tomach believes that this movie has almost all emotions, ranging from chaos and carnage to heartwarming and pleasant. Simply put, it is a funny story of three children who survive every day of High School with utmost disgust and fear.
