Terminator Franchise set to make another impact on the TV Although there were on the small screen a few years ago with the underrated Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the franchise is ready to make another impact on the small screens with Annapurna Pictures and Skydance Productions helping them.
The producers have planned the new Terminator Trilogy and are working on extending the story of the film, which is currently in production.
Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who are known for having written for X-Men: First Class /Thor would be the executive producers and will launch their show alongside the ‘Terminator’ film script.
No information about the plot has been released as of yet, but it is expected to follow James Cameron’s original which released in 1984. As the story progresses, it would be tangentially opposite to the earlier versions.
There are also plans to intersect other movies at different points in the story, a little story about how Marvel has been trying their best to connect its Cinematic Universe with
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to different levels of complexity and success.
The terminator would come along with a certain set of expectations, given that the earlier version had been a huge success.
Meanwhile, the film has Alan Taylor, from ‘Thor: The Dark World’ who would be seeing the film marching onto the screens in 2015. The producers have also attached Arnold Schwarzenegger playing the famous role in some way or the other. Information is that Taylor and the producers are narrowing in on an actress to play the role of Sarah Connor. It must indeed be a difficult task for them.
