Even though there’s been a way to edit OpenStreetMap data (for check-in services) for a long time, most Foursquare users don’t really know about it since they can’t fiddle with maps through the place pages.
Foursquare clearly wants to do something about it, and now all ‘Superusers’ in UK, Germany, Australia, and Brazil have to do, to edit an OpenStreetMap, is click on the provided web link. This privilege is only for Superusers as of now, and there’s no news about whether or not it will be extended to regular OSM users.
