Strong To Be The Head Coach At Texas-Reports

Charlie Strong and The University of Texas have come to an agreement on Charles being the head coach for Longhorns, though strong has not officially accepted the job but has given them a positive reply, according to a top Texas official.

The official said Charlie had agreed to a five-year deal worth $5-million every season. Strong who is yet to inform Louisville about his decision said he would make his decision in the morning.

Many reports have hit the news and the web on Friday that Strong would be the next head coach at Texas but official reports about the deal would not be out until Saturday. Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich told ESPN that Strong had not accepted the job but is the one which would intrigue him. Some of the reports which stated earlier this week was Strong interviewing Longhorns.

Strong who was a Urban Meyer’s defensive coordinator at Florida joined Louisville five seasons ago giving them a 37-15 record wins over Miami and Florida.
