Boba Fett one of the Star Wars character will be seen on the screens again when some of the Movie bosses who are reportedly planning on focusing him on one of their movies.
A film focusing on the nasty bounty hunter is said to be in the works and will be written by Lawrence Kasdan, claims Metalocalypse director Jon Schnepp.
“One of them is Boba Fett,” the director revealed in an interview with AMC Movie Talk.
“It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan.”
The Star Wars star was rated the top character on the entertainment website IGN.
A poll of more than 15,000 Star Wars fans on the website ranked Fett above regulars such as Chewbacca and R2D2. The film series is said to release on 2015 and will be directed by Star Trek film-maker JJ Abrams. Film company Disney, which bought production company Lucasfilm a year ago, used an open audition process to find two actors to play major roles in the upcoming movie.
It searched for a “street smart” actress over 16 and a “smart, capable” 18-plus male, with both expected to be attractive, smart and athletic.
Filming for the Star Wars film is due to take place in the UK.
