Andre Villas-Boas wants his side to complete a clean sweep in the group stages of the Europa League.
Tottenham take on Anzhu Makhachkala at White Hart Lane tonight, after having won all of their five group matches and have cruised to the knockout stages.
Last season was slightly difficult for Spurs, having had to wait until the final game of the group section to book their place in the knockout stages. They have shown tremendous improvement by easing past the group stages. The Russians have also secured their spot in the next round.
The Tottenham manager wants his team to keep their momentum going. “Another win would be brilliant for us. It would be a good cup run this time around, compared to last year. It would feel good if we could go past the group stages undefeated,” he said.
“We are focusing on a win and achieve 18 points and finish the game without any injuries,” he added.
