Canadian-American programmer Sid Meier is reportedly working on an iOS game called Ace Patrol, which is set in a WWI background. The game mainly features aerial combat, and is set to launch on the app store on May 9.
You will be able to download the game for free, and the game has been designed entirely by Sid Meier. It will have four campaigns, and as soon as you download the app you will have access to the British and Multiplayer campaigns, but to get the other campaigns and boosts, in-app purchases are required. In the multiplayer campaign, two squads will go up against each other. Sid Meier is known for his strategy and simulation video games, such as the ever popular Civilisation.
