Shadow Warrior By Flying Wild Hog – September Release

Flying Wild Hog’s Shadow warrior is expected to release on September 26. This is a different version to their previous ones. Devolved Digital delivered a new trailer just to show the transition which the 1997 vintage has undergone. Back then, the original was developed by 3d Realms. Basically, Duke Nukem was set in Japan(which was a corporate and a futuristic place). One had to fight demons, mechs and men in suits. It had a lot of violence and adult content with blood and boobs, being shown explicitly. The original game was released for free by Devolved Digital. They had bought the rights from 3D Realms, when it was shut down. Initially, the original game was released on Steam. The original has been subject to usage of modern technology to improve the graphics, so that audience can appreciate and enjoy it even more. However, traditionalists believe that the original version ought to be preserved and any changes made to it would only spoil the aura which the ‘Shadow Warrior’ had, in their times. It is a disputable issue between the conservatives and the young generation.

All said and done, if you are into evocative and retro shooting, this game would be oodles of fun. You generally don’t see a decapitated head fall to the tune of Japanese Jazz. Although it being an oxymoron, Shadow warrior combines violence in a peaceful scenary. There is a lot of buzz going around regarding the release of the game and whether it would prove to live up the name of the original. Shadow warrior is only for the strong-heart who can take decapitations and blood with a light heart.
