Samsung unveiled Galaxy Note 8.0 yesterday at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Galaxy Note 8.0 is a tab which runs on Android version 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with an 8 inch WXGA TFT touchscreen.
The tab features an Exynos chipset with 1.6 Ghz A9 quad core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 460 mAh battery. There are two versions of the tab, one with 16 GB of in built memory and one with 32 GB of in built memory, with a microSD card slot for further expansion.
Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with a 5.0 megapixel camera at the back, and a 1.3 megapixel camera at the front.
The device comes with a stylus S Pen, which usually is provided with all Galaxy Note devices. The S Pen can be used for writing “Sticky Notes” with drawing/handwriting, text input and pictures.
Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 8.0 in the UK during the second quarter of 2013.
