Saido Berahino is delighted after having signed on signing a new contract for West Brom. The contract would see him playing for the club till 2017.
Manager Steve Clarke’s faith in the player is huge, after offering a long contract to Saido Berahino.
The Under-21 international for England is clear about his future at club level.
Berahino impressed West Brom this season by scoring six goals, which included a hat-trick against Newport County in the Capital One Cup. He also scored the crucial winner at Manchester United in the Premier League.
He is excited to sign a new deal for the club and the forward offered his gratitude to the staff and support in West Brom for giving him an opportunity to be successful at the club.
“I am happy that everything is sorted”, Berahino told the club’s official website. “I have commited to my future to West Bromwich Albion and I want to be successful at the club. I have been here since I was 11 and glad that I continue to play for them. I am happy that the manager had the belief in me. He has given me chance to shine at the top most leagues in the world. I have gelled with the other players in the team easily.”, he added.
“Contracts can take a lot of time to sort out. I wanted to make sure everything was right, because I am giving my next 3 years of my footballing career to this club. I am looking forward to the future”, he said.
